Routine Reboot: Choosing the Right Bike

Routine Reboot: Choosing the Right Bike
2 min read

As part of our Routine Reboot campaign, we’re urging you to try something new. As a start, a great at home piece of equipment to have is a smart fitness bike.

In this article, we’ll help you decide the best Echelon bike for you so you can give your fitness routine a reboot, covering capabilities, budget and storage.

Capabilities

With the Echelon Fit app and Bluetooth access, all of our smart bikes can connect to live and on-demand classes. They also have 32 levels of resistance, movable handlebars and seats, and places to hold water bottles. There are, however, still some clear differences.

For cycling enthusiasts, we recommend: Connect EX-3 and Connect EX-5s. Both feature SPD-compatible pedals with toe cages and include frame-mounted dumbbell holders for when you want to mix up your routine with off-equipment sessions.

For tech enthusiasts, we recommend: The Connect EX-3 and Connect Sport may be great if you want to connect your own smart device to a bike, however if you’re looking for a high tech bike with a fully integrated HD screen, then the Connect EX-5s, Connect Sport-s and Connect EX-7s are best suited to you.

Budget

Getting a new bike usually benefits from having a budget in mind. Nonetheless, we would advise considering equipment as an investment; the cost of fitness bikes usually reflects the quality of them. It is usually wise to spend extra money on a well-rated brand workout bike. Our reputation at Echelon is on the quality of our equipment. Our most affordable bike is the Echelon Connect Sport, closely followed by the Connect EX-3. However, if you are looking to spend a little more on your new fitness bike and want all the gadgets included, our premium bike is the Connect EX-5s. The Connect Sport-s also includes an integrated 10” rotating screen.

We also provide monthly financing options for all of our bikes to distribute the payments if a one-off payment is putting you off from getting your new fitness bike and rebooting your routine.

Storage

One last thing to note is the storage you have available in your living space. If your space is on the smaller side, our Connect Sport is also one of our smaller and lighter bikes, making it easy to move and store.
